I know that you believe there are
always shows and performances at the Murphy Fine Arts Center, and you
are absolutely correct!!!
Theatre Morgan will present Dwight Cook's A Prayer!?! directed
by Janice Short. Set in a Southern Black church, the play examines issues
related to Gay Marriage and the church. Got your attention yet? See
flyer attached for more detailed synopsis. As you are aware, the
content of Theatre often reflects issues in the world and society and
this play reflects just that.
This is not a
conventional play but a staged reading in the Murphy Recital Hall.
