Leslie Kwan: Boston Symphony Orchestra partners with L'Académie in weekly chamber music series at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute

Leslie Kwan writes:

L'Académie is pleased to announce that the Boston Symphony Orchestra has chosen, for the second year in a row, to partner with L'Académie in presenting our weekly chamber music concert series at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

This generous gift for the 2014/15 season will underwrite several concerts over the next few months and enable us to continue to share the transformative power of live classical music for the patients, families and staff of the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute community. We are humbled by and deeply appreciative of the Boston Symphony Orchestra's partnership and support of our mission.

This partnership is a milestone for our organization- to partner with and have the support of an iconic and world-class orchestra such as the Boston Symphony Orchestra is exciting, and reinforces the importance of our mission: to contribute to the improvement of patient care through live chamber music concerts in hospitals as a holistic approach to healing.

Thank you for helping us create this life-affirming music series. Together, we will continue to share the transformative power of music to patients in medical institutions in the Greater Boston area.

Stay tuned for the 2014/15 season orchestra concert announcement soon!

Warmest regards,
