Thank you, and also for your posts. I am pleased with both the Panufnik Concerto (Thursday) and Sibelius Concerto (Sunday) concerts. A very exciting week with Royal Liverpool Philharmonic and Maestro Vasily Petrenko!

Thank you for sharing this, Bill.

You may be interested to know that my husband, Tony (Martin Anthony, copied in herewith) – the longest serving member of the RLPO and the musician who discovered and realised for performance the Coleridge-Taylor Piano Quintet Op.1 -  was a member of the Orchestra for the Panufnik  performance, and he has already told me this was a very strong performance, given beautifully at short notice.

I gather that Tony and Tai chatted after the performance – he was the tall violinist, as you may recall, Tai.  Tony was quite keen to discuss the background to your encore...

Very best wishes, and of course congratulations, Hilary [Hilary Burrage, www.HilaryBurrage.com]
