The March 13, 2014 meet the author and book signing with Misty Copeland Life in Motion: An Unlikely Ballerina at William Turner Gallery in Santa Monica was SOLD OUT.
Gilda Squire, publicist for Ms. Copeland gave me access to Ms. Copeland
prior to start of the event and introduced me to the renowned
entertainment attorney Nina Shaw.
While
driving home to Long Beach, i gave reflection and comparison of two
great athletes with similar characteristics who have shared time with
me. Muhammad Ali was a superbly conditioned athlete, completely
honest, with a deep love/respect for the public and his audience. Misty
Copeland is the New People's Champ.
