Latonia Moore (Dallas Opera/Kilponen)
Soprano Latonia Moore and Bass-Baritone Donnie Ray Albert donated
performances for MusicUNTOLD concert to celebrate the 150th Anniversary
of the Emancipation Proclamation on September 22, 2012. The concert
received a delayed broadcast on KUSC 91.5fm, KUSC.org with 30 day on
demand podcast. Each gave historic individual performances and they sang
the duet from Aida, "Ciel, mio padre!".
I wondered if I would ever have
another opportunity to see these extraordinary artists perform again on
the same program. I am excited to learn they both will perform with the
Cincinnati Symphony on May 9, 2014 at Carnegie Hall. I plan to attend and invite them
along with others to share in a pre or post concert reception depending
