Marilyn Horne (LA Opera)
MusicUNTOLD will present a record number of concerts and events in
2014. Scheduled events and concerts include 80th Anniversary Celebration for
legendary Mezzo Soprano Marilyn Horne with tentative date of 2:00 PM,
June 14, 2014, Long Beach Public Library-Main Library Auditorium
(Marilyn Horne and John Malveaux both attended Long Beach Polytechnic
High School) and 150th Anniversary concert celebration of the 13th
Amendment-ending slavery in the United States, 2:00 PM, November 23,
2014, Carpenter Performing Arts Center located on campus of California
State University-Long Beach. Additional information and more performance
dates forthcoming.
