Judith Anne Still and her father, Composer William Grant Still (1895-1978), in his later years

On November 6, 2013 AfriClassical posted two posts on this book and CD:

'The Little Song That Wanted To Be A Symphony,' Children's Book and CD; Music by William Grant Still; Eastman-Rochester Symphony Orchestra

John Malveaux: Let us encourage all orchestra administrations to visit or revisit William Grant Still's 'The Little Song That Wanted To Be A Symphony'

Judith Anne Still writes:

Bill, thank you very much for letting everyone know about the Little Song--good of you to do that.  And, the book and CD just won an Independent Publishers Award, and John Malveaux's comment on the work is very satisfying and welcome.
