Arizona Pro Arte Ensemble: Call for Scores! Winner's Work Performed in Phoenix!

2013-2014 Project Description

Seeking to provide our audiences with the best experience possible to the widest exposure of great music, Arizona Pro Arte announces their 2013-2014 “Call for Scores” project.

The winning work will be performed on Arizona Pro Arte’s April 10th, 2014 concert at Tempe Center for the Arts in Tempe, Arizona. The program is titled “Apotheosis of the Dance.” The winning work will be performed with a live solo dancer or duo of dancers. The concert also includes Beethoven’s Seventh Symphony. 

Instrumentation 

Submissions may consist of any combination of the following: 2 flutes, 2 oboes, 2 clarinets, 2 bassoons, 2 horns, 2 trumpets, timpani plus 1 auxiliary percussionist, and strings (6/6/4/4/2).

Application Fee

There is no application fee for our Call for Scores project.

Eligibility

Any person of any nationality/age/gender/race is encouraged to apply.

Deadline

The deadline for submission is December 1, 2013.
