On this day, September 1, 2012,
the 100th anniversary of the death of Samuel Coleridge-Taylor, The Longfellow Chorus has
released a promotional episode for our documentary in the making,
"Samuel Coleridge-Taylor and His Music in America, 1900--1912." In this
video, a stellar quartet of noted soloists performs Coleridge-Taylor's
Choral Ballad Op. 54, No. 2, "She Dwells by Great Kenhawa's Side,"
filmed in Metropolitan AME Church, Washington, DC, on August 6, 2012:
