The Colorado Black Arts Festival proudly presents its 2012 theme “Art
Reflects Nature”. The selection of this theme allows us to appreciate
how African American “Art Reflects Nature”. Through the millenniums,
mankind has used art for communication, display, personal expression,
recording of history and for the preservation of our rich cultural
traditions. The Colorado Black Arts Festival’s goal is to bring alive
the wonders and splendidness of how nature is weaved into an artistic
compilation of visual presentations, music, dance, language, theatre,
literature and food showcasing our unique style. Festival 2012 will
offer a multi-media platform of Arts showcasing African American artists
from the region.
