This
CD is the result of Eley's successful concerts after his appearance
at the National Arts Festival in Grahamstown, South Africa.
"I
felt excited about being in South Africa. The audiences were
extremely courteous. I had to make a recording. I needed to document
this musical journey." But Not Forgotten was recorded in Endler
Concert Hall in Stellenbosch.
"This recording, although
reflective of the collection of works for clarinet and piano by
African-American composers, is merely a sample of the total body of
material that has remained largely untapped."
