“Wanted
you to know about our upcoming International
Young Artists Competition dedicated
to George Gershwin. “The
Grand Prix for opera singers (age 17-35) and violinists and pianists
up to age 18, is appearance as soloist with symphony orchestra in
Italy in 2 different festivals (plus 2 chamber concerts). The
deadline for applications is March 1, 2012.
“Our
Italian musical director, Gianmaria Griglio, is conducting.
Competition is here in Philadelphia May 18, 19, 20 and performances
are in Italy June 7, 8, 9, 10. Air fare, hotel and transportation in
Italy provided...

send DVD. If no worthy applicant is here in Philadelphia, jury
will look to DVD applicant pool for winner...
