“Celebrating Black History Month, the fascinating program will include poetry readings, dance and song, all centered around the poetry of Langston Hughes.

“The powerhouse cast of performers to join Tymas-Jones includes Richard Thompson from the San Diego State University Jazz Studies Program on piano, Stephen McKinley Henderson from University at Buffalo, SUNY as Actor/Storyteller, and local dancer Joseph Blake performing choreography by Brent Schneider, Associate Dean in the College of Fine Arts and Professor in the Department of Modern Dance.”
