Patrick McCoy of Examiner.com: 'Moving words and fervent songs mark historic groundbreaking'

Patrick D. McCoy writes:

“Dear Mr. Zick,
I was honored to attend the private groundbreaking ceremony for the National Museum for African American History and Culture. The entire program was executed with such a high level of excellence and thoughtfulness. As previously mentioned on AfriClassical, the performers included Denyce Graves, Howard University's Afro Blue, Thomas Hampson, The Madrigals of Saint Albans and National Cathedral School, jazz pianist Jason Moran and The Heritage Signature Chorale. Attached are a few photos and a link to the article and more pictures.
