“Their 2011 annual fall concert, 'Music of African American Women Composers,' celebrates the work of several women composers, including Dr. Rosephanye Powell, a professor of Vocal Studies at Auburn University.
“Dr. Powell is also one of the guest artists for the concert. Other guest artists include Maria Corley, concert pianist, Diane Monroe, violinist, and Karolyn Lee, soprano. The concert will feature both secular music and songs of worship. The CAMA was founded in 1974, and is also dedicated to the advancement music education and fellowship within all participating church organizations.
