On Nov. 6, 2011 AfriClassical posted: Gary Powell Nash: “'Fraternal Prelude,' commissioned by the band fraternity at Morgan State University.” We notified the composer of the post, and he immediately responded:

Hello and thank you very much for your e-mail. The Indiana University Wind Ensemble will be performing A Fraternal Prelude on an upcoming concert on Sunday, Nov. 13, 2011 at 3 PM on a Fall Concert there at the IU School of Music.

“Along with a performance at Indiana University in about 3 weeks, I'll also have compositions performed at Miami Univ. and Univ. of Missouri this semester.”
