Jeremy Jordan

"Jeremy Jordan is a recent graduate of The Juilliard School where he studied on the Howard & Ethel B. Ross Scholarship, the Bruno Raikin Memorial Piano Scholarship, and the Van Cliburn Scholarship with renowned concert pianist Matti Raekallio. Jordan is presently studying on the Irene Diamond Scholarship in the Graduate Program at The Juilliard School. Jordan began his piano studies at age 4 with his parents as his first teachers. At age 9 he began piano studies with Professor Regina Syrkin at DePaul University’s Community Music School. He is currently studying with Matti Raekallio at Juilliard and receiving coaching with renowned pianist Yoshie Akimoto in Connecticut.

“Jeremy Jordan, 22, made his orchestral debut in 2006 with the Ars Viva Symphony Orchestra and six months later recorded the Prokofiev Concerto No. 1 in his European debut appearance in Prague in Rudolfinum Hall with the Czech National Symphony Orchestra conducted by Paul Freeman, followed by a repeat performance in 2007 with the Chicago Sinfonietta at Symphony Center in Chicago also conducted by Maestro Freeman. In 2007, Jordan made his solo debut at Chicago’s Ravinia Festival playing Bach, Chopin and Liszt. Jordan received rave reviews following his 2011 performance of Beethoven’s Clarinet Trio with renowned clarinetist and cellist Anthony McGill and Yo-Yo Ma; his 2011 debut performance at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, The Netherlands; and most recently his ‘live’ performance and interview on WFMT 98.7's 'Impromptu' with Kerry Frumkin. 2011 also featured Jordan at the United Nations Arts Council sponsored by the grandchildren of President Franklin D. Roosevelt.

“Jeremy Jordan is currently preparing and producing a Juilliard concert and lecture series featuring the music of Liszt in honor of the Bicentennial of the composer’s birth; and a concert featuring Jordan’s variations on the music of Rachmaninoff for piano and orchestra.”
