Mark O'Connor String Camp
in Tennessee from June 20-24, 2011

Mark O'Connor String Camp in Tennessee
Registration begins Jan 8th, 2011 at
$900 - includes classes, lodging and meals.

The dates are June 20 - 24, 2011. The String Camp will take place for the
2nd year at ETSU - the campus of the East Tennessee State University located
in Johnson City, Tennessee.

Tennessee camp- Below fees includes dorm room bed-space and cafeteria meals
Sunday night through Saturday morning. Violin/Fiddle student $900, Teacher
training student $700. Guardian $400 (These fees include room and board)
Day campers starting at age 14 who don't need overnight lodging can register
for $650. Day camper (below age 14) guardian is $200.


Johnson City, TN: Arrive: Sunday before camp begins. Depart: Saturday, (the
last event is Friday night) Check-in runs from 3:00 PM to 9 PM EST on
Sunday. Please arrive before 9 PM. All classes and concerts are held at the
ETSU (East Tennessee State University campus) Monday through Friday. There
are no "official" activities planned for Sunday afternoon at the campus,
socializing and jamming can take place Sunday night. Classes begin after
breakfast on Monday morning. The last activity of the camp is the Friday
night student/faculty concert. Most people will leave Saturday morning since
the Friday night concert will likely run past 10 PM.
