'Kaleidoscope: Music by African-American Women' is resource for National Women's History Month 2011

March is National Women's History Month 2011. Resources may be found at http://www.nwhp.org/ Kaleidoscope: Music by African-American Women is a 1995 CD which remains in print and which provides examples of works by 14 women of African descent. Brief sound samples of all of the tracks can be heard at the website of Leonarda Records. Three of the composers are featured at AfriClassical.com:
