A member of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra for more than two decades, double bassist Rick Robinson will perform a pair of concerts this weekend.
On Saturday at 8 p.m., see him with other members of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra at the First Presbyterian Church (529 Hendrie St. in Royal Oak). They will perform music by black composers such as Duke and Mercer Ellington, Adolphus Hailstork and others. Members of the CutTime Players and the Brazeal Dennard Chorale will also take the stage.
