Composer Jeffrey Mumford has a website at: http://www.jeffreymumford.com He was featured in two posts in February about his composition wending. On Feb. 25, 2010 AfriClassical posted: “Mumford: 'Yes wending IS written for the violist Wendy Richman and much of the harmonic material IS based on her name.”

Donald Rosenberg writes in The Cleveland Plain Dealer on Dec. 12, 2010 of a performance by cellist Tahirah Whittington: “She made a stop Saturday at Lorain County Community College’s Stocker Center Studio Theatre to give a solo recital on the Signature Series, hosted by composer Jeffrey Mumford.” “The shorter pieces on the second half took Whittington to all sorts of musical destinations. In his 'revisiting variazioni elegiaci…once more,' Mumford sets the cello on a mercurial journey full of furious and ethereal inventiveness.
