Weekly Black History & Classical Music Links
Last year a curriculum consultant for an Intermediate School District (ISD) told us that some teachers who were using AfriClassical and AfriClassical.com had requested links on a regular schedule. We experimented with sending Black History & Classical Music Links to the ISD, which relayed them to its local school districts. The Links proved popular, and are now being distributed once a week. This year State and Provincial Departments of Education, ISDs, Parochial School Districts and Private Schools are also invited to request the Black History & Classical Music Links by email to wzick@ameritech.net.
Yesterday the Michigan Department of Education announced the Links via a Listserv, ArtsEdNews, to school districts throughout the state. A copy of the Links dated Nov. 5, 2010 was attached. The current issue is 2 pages long. A title, a photo and a URL are provided for each post:
