Fitzgerald III, right, professor of trumpet, performs on stage in Esber Recital Hall with composer and pianist Eric Ewazen during Fitzgerald's faculty recital on Sunday, Sept. 19. The event was marked by the complete world premiere performance of Ewazen's 'Down a River of Time.'
