“Sphinx Kids Classical Music Interactives” was posted on SmartBoardGoodies.com on April 7, 2010:

Sphinx Kids is an awesome interactive site that is an extension of the Sphinx Organization’s Classical Connections program which brings classical music into underserved schools. On this site, students can learn about classical instruments, composers (awesome section on minority composers, too), and even create their own rhythm band! Check it out!”

“My name is Amber Coggin, and I am an Elementary Technology Teacher in Mobile, Alabama. I created this blog as a place to share SMART Board resources with teachers at my school, the district, or anyone else who stops by. Thanks for visiting, and please feel free to leave a comment.”

“Sphinx Kids is an extension of the Sphinx Organization's Classical Connections program, which brings classical music into underserved schools nationwide. The creation of the site was sponsored by an SBC Excelerator Grant. Sphinx Kids contains interactive games and videos from the Sphinx Classical Connections CD-Rom as well as from the New York Philharmonic's KidZone website. Special thanks go to the New York Philharmonic and their Educational Department for sharing their technology!” [The Founder/President of The Sphinx Organization is violinist Aaron P. Dworkin (b. 1970), who is profiled at AfriClassical.com]
