Free Events during San Antonio Symphony in Residence at St. Philip’s College

The San Antonio Symphony takes up residence at St. Philip’s College for its annual Symphony in Residence program featuring open rehearsals, master classes and four concerts, all of which are free and open to the public. Performances will include three Young People’s Concerts and a spectacular finale concert celebrating the week-long residency. Maestro Anthony Elliott will lead the San Antonio Symphony and guest soprano Marcía Porter in the finale performance on February 20 at 8 PM. The finale concert will feature music by American composers Samuel Barber, Joan Tower, and Coleridge-Taylor Perkinson, and will conclude with a performance of Sergei Rachmaninoff’s Symphony No. 2.
