The website of Reginald L. Mobley tells us:

As Easter approaches, the Monteverdi ensembles perform Bach's passiontide oratorio across Europe. The tour begins in Spain almost 290 years after the work was first performed and travels across Europe visiting France, Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands. The Monteverdi ensembles will return to Leipzig in June 2016 to perform this magnificent work at the Bach-Archiv in Thomaskirche, Bach's own church where the St Matthew Passion was first performed in 1727
