SOUTH BEND — The Raclin School of the Arts presents its annual “Lift Every Voice: Celebrating the African-American Spirit” concert at 7 p.m. Saturday in Northside Hall at Indiana University South Bend.
The concert begins with the IU South Bend African Dancers performing works choreographed by faculty director Kelly Morgan and the IU South Bend Gospel Choir, conducted by master’s of arts voice student Marketo Michel.
Guest ensemble the Chicago Solisti String Quartet will perform William Grant Still’s Danzas de Panama, Duke Ellington’s Three Pieces for String Quartet and Florence Price’s Five Folksongs in Counterpoint.
