Earlier this month, audiences in several churches across Northwest Ohio celebrated Black History Month by experiencing the powerful AOP-commissioned opera by Nkeiru Okoye based on the life of American icon Harriet Tubman. It was presented by Cleveland Opera Theater and Oberlin Opera Theater.
