African Musical Arts Concert Season Begins This Sunday! "Music Saved from the Storm" Sunday, August 30, 3 PM at Trinity Presbyterian Church

Fred Onovwerosuoke
William Grant Still
Lucius R. Weathersby
Ludwig van Beethoven

Join us at Trinity Presbyterian Church this Sunday, August
30th, at 3:00 PM for "Music Saved from the Storm," the first
concert in our recently announced 2015-2016 Season

"Music Saved from the Storm" features pianist Sunghee
Hinners and the IMI Chamber Players. The concert
commemorates ten years since Hurricane Katrina, a storm
that nearly decimated a large portion of our music archive
manuscripts.

This concert will feature music by Beethoven, William Grant
Still, and our own St. Louis-based composer Fred
Onovwerosuoke. The event will also honor the memory of
the late composer Dr. Lucius R. Weathersby who lost much
of his music manuscripts and passed away shortly after the
storm.

Tickets are $15 for adults.  Discounted tickets of $7 are
available for seniors and students at the door.  Click the
buttons below to purchase tickets online.

We'll see you on Sunday!

Regards,
