Sunday, March 15, 2015 at 1pm, the Afro-American Chamber Orchestra will perform Dr. Shirley Thompson's "Marley Mix" in celebration of Women's History Month at MOLAA

On Sunday, March 15, 2015 at 1pm, the Afro-American Chamber Orchestra will perform Dr. Shirley Thompson's "Marley Mix" in celebration of Women's History Month at the Afro-Latino Women's Festival  at MOLAA, Museum of Latin American Art, Soprano, Sheila Judson will perform songs composed by women featuring  Swing Low by Sarah Hannah Shepherd (1800s), Ma Teodora by Teodora Gines (1500s), Baked Potato (Bamboula) by an Anonymous Creole Woman  and Dialogue d'mour by Maude Cuney Hare.The concert will open with Chevalier de St. George's Sinfonia I in G.  AACMSO's concert is sponsored by Supervisor Mark Ridley Thomas and Target Sundays.
Admission is FREE!
