Dr. Dominique-René de Lerma:
This news is absolutely of extraordinary historical importance!  When such details are available, I will be interested in knowing about any safeguards protecting the composer from any royalty abuse, downloading music beyond the authorized number of copies, projected costs for the performers, BMI or ASCAP credit for the composer, policy for library acquisition, arrangement for subsequent issue by a commercial publisher ...  I'm sure a great deal of thought and planning went into the proposal and we should all be enormously appreciative of this very welcome innovation!
