Patrick D. McCoy: Colour of Music Festival welcomes guest panelist Jennifer Bowman, Manager-Folger Consort, for Black Classical Music Administrators Panel Oct. 25

It is with great personal pleasure to share that I will be able to see yet another familiar D.C. area face in Charleston, SC at the Colour of Music Festival.

Jennifer Bowman who serves as manager of the acclaimed early music ensemble, The Folger Consort will join the Community Symposium on Oct 25 as guest panelist for the topic Black Classical Music Administrators.

Jennifer M. Bowman is manager of Folger Consort, the early music ensemble in residence at the Folger Shakespeare Library in Washington, DC.
Jennifer began her career in arts management at the DeVos Institute at Arts Management at the Kennedy Center. During her tenure there, she supervised professional development programs for chief executives and staff for over 600 arts and cultural organizations in the U.S. and abroad.

More recently, she served as the Operations Manager for the Washington Bach Consort.
