Kevin Scott: John Snyder's Edition of Coleridge-Taylor's Symphony; Tribute by his daughter Avril Coleridge-Taylor (16:59) on YouTube

[Samuel Coleridge-Taylor (1875-1912) is profiled at, which features a comprehensive Works List  by Prof. Dominique-René de Lerma,  We are collaborating with the Samuel

Coleridge-Taylor Foundation of the U.K.,]

Kevin Scott writes:

Good morning, Bill and Dominique:
I don't know if you are aware of this, but another edition of Samuel Coleridge-Taylor's A minor Symphony has been published:
It would be interesting to compare John Snyder's edition against the previously published one edited by Patrick Meadows.
Above, Coleridge-Taylor around the time he wrote the symphony; below, a brief tribute to the composer, narrated by his daughter, Avril Coleridge-Taylor.

Comment by email:
Avril Coleridge-Taylor made an enduring contribution to the legacy of her father as Judith Still continues to share the genius of her father William Grant Still and her mother Verna Arvey.  Thanks,  John Malveaux
