Marlissa Hudson: LUST has arrived + first major media coverage! Marlissa Hudson, soprano

Marlissa Hudson

Patrick D. McCoy forwards this release:

Dear Music Lovers,

By now you might have heard that I'm in the process of launching my latest project, Lust. It is the culmination of a few years' dreams made into reality, and will bring my message of living fearlessly through song to the world - while bringing classical music to an entirely new audience.

My first, most critical initiative is to raise money through Kickstarter http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1884789979/lust-start-your-journey-tour  Your investment will be used to create and promote an international tour, including intimate concert venues, art gallery performances, college symposiums, and masterclasses. Please take a second, read the campaign, and become a project backer. Frankly I can't do it without you!

In the meantime, we've made excellent headway: almost $1,300 towards our $15,000 goal, and our first major radio interview! Stories will run Thursday morning - TOMORROW - on CBS Radio, All News 99.1 WNEW from 5 a.m. to 11 a.m. (DC area). To listen to them via the internet, go to http://washington.cbslocal.com/ and click on the banner highlighted in yellow for the media player. Needless to say, we're ecstatic that the project has already garnered major media interest. More to come!

Lust is way more than an album; it’s a movement that will inspire us all to be brave in pursuit of our own personal lust (read: deeply desired dreams), and unapologetic during the process!

If you have a moment, also check out my redesigned website www.marlissahudson.com. It is interactive, entertaining, and will keep you all posted about my comings and goings.

With Love,
Marlissa

P.S.  If you're curious, the male model in the video is Bobby Roache (twitter.com/bobbyroache), who is most famous for being Beyonce's model in the video "Irreplaceable". Enjoy!
