The Violin Concerto in A Major, Op. 5, No. 2 of Le Chevalier de Saint-Georges (1745-1799) from Rachel Barton Pine's landmark recording on Cedille Records was heard on the February 18, 2013 program of Bill McGlaughlin's Exploring Music.

Dominique-René de Lerma writes:

Bill McGlaughlin began hosting two weeks of music by Black composers on 18 February.  Each weekday evening until the first of March his stellar radio program, Exploring music, will air works he has selected.  The program is heard on most National Public Radio stations, not just in the United States.  By entering the web site (exploringmusic.wfmt.com) one can select a time zone and hour and radio station for these broadcasts.  Write Bill, as he urges on each show, to give him your reaction -- he has indicated to me that he reads every email.
