The Northern California regional community is invited to attend
beginning Noon, Monday, December 31, 2012, at the California State
Capitol to celebrate Freedom's Eve the 150th Anniversary of the
Emancipation Proclamation. President Abraham Lincoln signed the
executive order allowing people of African ancestry to officially join
the armed services in the ongoing struggle toward equity, equal rights
and freedom for people of African ancestry throughout California and the
Pan African Diaspora.
