Gareth Johnson & Mississippi Symphony Orchestra in Baroque Concerts Sept. 17 & 18, 2010

Violinist Gareth Johnson has distinguished himself in a variety of settings, as is clear from his very informative website, http://garethjohnson.org/ This February, he became First-Place Laureate in the Senior Division of the 2010 Sphinx Competition at Orchestra Hall in Detroit. Next month Gareth will perform baroque music with the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra, under Crafton Beck, Music Director and Conductor, on two consecutive nights. Friday, September 17, 2010 will see Gareth Johnson and the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra at St. Andrew's Episcopal Cathedral in Jackson, Mississippi. Saturday, September 18, 2010 will find them at the Mississippi University for Women, in Columbus, Mississippi.
