Rashida N. Black Says MyrtleHart.org Now Updates Live and eNewsletter is Quarterly

Rashida N. Black, Founder and Executive Director of The Myrtle Hart Society http://www.MyrtleHart.org is a close associate of AfriClassical. Yesterday she made this announcement via the MHS eNewsletter:

Friends,
Over the past almost three years, the MHS eNewsletter has provided you with upcoming events and news from and about the classical community of color around the globe. From job announcements to music-related opportunities, we have kept you connected and have encouraged you to invest, move forward, or support artists.

The time has come for us to move forward as well. Starting this month, the MHS eNewsletter will continue as a quarterly publication. In place of the monthly editions, the website (myrtlehart.org) will be revamped to reflect the on-going activities from the community and will serve as the go-to place for all your information. Topics will be similar to a newsletter ... except the updates will be in real time, not a month in advance.

The reasons for the changes are many, including the fact that many interesting and exciting performances or events are unknown until after the publication goes to print. In an effort to not have you miss any news from this community, we have decided to put more effort into the site, the immediate happenings, the now.

Please visit the Myrtle Hart Society website, myrtlehart.org, and click on RSS under Syndicate in the left column, then click "Subscribe Now." This feed will automagically alert you to updates from the website. :) Thanks so much for your continued support. We look forward to receiving your comments.

Musically Yours,
Rashida N. Black
