Audience Member Says of Marin Alsop's James P. Johnson Revival: 'It was very powerful'

Earlier today, AfriClassical posted: “Marin Alsop & Baltimore Symphony Orchestra Revive James P. Johnson's 'Drums'”.  AM Kingsfield has made this comment: “Thanks! The BSO did play "Victory Stride" with Savion Glover accompanying on tap. The maestra said they were considering making this their signature piece.  It was very powerful.”  We appreciate the input.
